Challenge: The White Tiger field is a demanding Offshore environment, subject to severe corrosion from seawater, high salinity, and vibration. The H5 project required Junction Boxes that met the highest explosion protection standards (Ex e/Ex ia/Ex d), featured superior corrosion resistance (316L stainless steel), and ensured long-term connection reliability for control and measurement systems.

Solution: Viet Thang Loi supplied and installed a range of specialized Industrial Junction Boxes (JBs) from Weidmuller. These JBs were custom-sized, manufactured from high-grade 316L stainless steel, and pre-configured with terminals, safety barriers, and cable glands meeting IP66/IP67 and Ex standards for hazardous areas. The Weidmuller solution simplified installation and maintenance in the platform’s confined spaces.
