Design features
Style C boxes are supplied with aluminum plate covers as standard, allowing field addition of cover device holes
Stainless steel cover bolts (Style C only)
Ground joint cover opening provides maximum opening for pulling wires or mounting equipment
Body walls may be drilled and tapped for conduit entries as shown in listings
Stud bolts in diagonally opposite corners aid in aligning cover to body during installation (not furnished with hinged covers)
All Style C bodies feature captive, triple-lead, quick-release stainless steel hex head bolts with spring-loaded action indicating full bolt retraction
External flange design provides a wide, unobstructed cover opening for full interior accessibility
Square corners of the enclosure body maximize interior space and conduit entry area
Internal grounding lug for grounding enclosed equipment
Special neoprene cover gasket provides a watertight seal meeting NEMA 4 requirements and protects against water and corrosion
Enclosures are machined to accept field-installed mounting plates
Detachable mounting feet provide installation flexibility without replacing the enclosure
Optional stainless steel hinges allow easy access for inspection and maintenance
Enclosures are machined to accept field-installed hinges
IEC rated when ordered with ATEX suffix
